Princess Chloe -
The Belle of the Barn
Born January 21, 2005
Pembroke Corgi, color: Sable, Female
Favorite thing: Belly rubs
Born via caesarian, the litter needed fluids to keep
from dehydrating. Chloe got a tiny abscess from the
needle on her back, which accounts for the scar and dark
stripe of hair which blends into her coat.
At a few days old, the tip of her left ear was somehow
torn, leaving that ear a little shorter than the other.
Many people do not even notice right away, they are too
enraptured with her cute personality.
None of this slows Chloe down a bit. She bosses her big
brother, 75 lb hound dog "Theodore", and big sister, 70
lb German Shepard "Angel", around morning and night.
During the day, she keeps mom company, either at Happy
Valley or traveling to teach when the weather isn't too
hot. Chloe has the life of luxury, snoozing on her
blanket in the air conditioned/heated office at Happy
Valley, receiving treasured belly rubs from passers by,
getting several walks a day by Tristin's students and
helpers. She has the nickname the Belle of the Barn -
nobody can resist those liquid brown eyes, waggly stump,
smiling face, she is the first thing everyone pays
attention to in the office. Chloe has also been
traveling to horse shows this summer and was the
unofficial mascot of the JR Team Championships where
Tristin was coaching. Lucky for Tristin, Chloe never
lacks for nannies to keep an eye on her while Tristin is
working. She's just too cute to resist.
