Tristin Hardy is proud to work with many talented and accomplished Junior and Young Riders!  Tristin has also volunteered her time to be the Head Coach for SVDA's Junior/Young Rider team! 

Entry forms –

• If you have not already sent your entry forms please mail to me this week. 
• Please mail to Tristin Hardy, PO Box 1647, Suffolk, VA  23439. 
• The entries have opened and we need to mail early to make sure we get stalls as the stabling is limited and runs short every year. 
• If you have questions please call me at 615-4975, leave a message if I don’t answer and I will get back with you.  I am moving to my new house this week so my internet may not be as reliable.  

Pizza orders – Due date extended to Monday, May 19^th at NOON.   

• We were not able to get the forms as quickly as planned so we mailed them this Sat.

• I have to call the orders in on Monday the 19^th so they will be delivered on the 24^th.  The good news is you will get your orders right away!

 Pick up Pizza’s – Saturday, May 24^th, 4:00 pm, Bridlewood Estates – This is also our next team meeting.  Please make arrangements with Tristin for pick up if you can not pick up at this time.  You can bring the money for the pizza upon pick up.

 Team Meeting – Saturday, May 24^th, 4:00 pm, Bridlewood Estates –

• Tristin’s new barn, address below if you need to map for directions. 
• Jennifer Hippensteel will be emailing you regarding the costumes and decorations as this will be a focus of the meeting. 
• Braiding demonstration – yes we have to braid at the championships
• Pick up pizza and cookie dough orders
• Finalize all entries

 Chocolates – I have received money from a few of you – Great Job!  We still have several more boxes, you can pick them up at Bridlewood any time, more will be available at the team meeting as well. 

 Fund raising money – We need to raise approximately $350 per person/horse.  So, sell those chocolates and pizza’s!  Sponsorships are also welcome.  We have raised about $75 per person with the silent auction and the SVDA schooling show proceeds, the rest is up to the team members.  We have about 14 participants again this year.   

Remember - Discounted Clinic – June 28-29^th - Riding clinic scheduled with Brigitte Peterson at Bridlewood Estates, Suffolk, VA.  Fee’s will be discounted for SVDA Youth members.  Great opportunity to ride your tests and brush up before the championship show.  See SVDA newsletter for details and entry forms. 

 Region 1 Youth Team Championship Show - July 18^th-20^th – Friday travel to Morven Park in Leesburg, VA.  Saturday and Sunday competition.  Sunday awards ceremonies.

 Golf Carts – available for the weekend – Carts and Parts 301-865-3225 – call for reservation.  $60 per day per cart plus an $80 delivery fee (might be split with other carts, they bring 2 at a time).  So $220 or $260 for 3 days.
